Fueled by younger generations accumulating and inheriting wealth, a major shift is underway in how Americans give, the tools they use and even what motivates them. The pandemic accelerated existing trends, increasing the use of digital giving tools and refocusing the charitable causes that donors see as most important.

Charitable giving platforms, like GoFundme.com, allow donors to socialize the causes they support and raise donations through the use of Giving Circles. Giving Circles are formed by like-minded people who pool their resources to support causes they all support. It's estimated that 13% of all charitable donations are made online and giving circles account for over $1 billion in annual donations.

This webinar will feature a close look at the trends in charitable giving and new approaches to giving that can help you work with your clients to make a stronger impact through their charitable giving strategy.  Special guests include

  • Nelle Schantz, Vice President of Advisor and Donor Marketing & Education at Fidelity Charitable helping donors support nonprofits with $51 billion in grants through a donor-advised fund program.
  • Emily Rasmussen, founder and CEO of Grapevine, a group giving platform that helps groups of friends, families, alumni and ore to create Giving Circles.

Attendees will learn:

  • The latest trends in giving driven largely by generational changes
  • How giving circles work
  • How clients can use turnkey platforms to amplify their charitable giving
