This session will start with an introduction on the “why” behind the importance of tax planning including several of the key reasons every advisor should strongly consider making it part of their ongoing work with clients. Our expert speaker, Kevin Lozer, CFP will also cover the common barriers advisors face when it comes to tax planning and how those can be overcome with a few simple tools.
The session will continue with a live demonstration of the new tax planning software Holistiplan, co-founded by 2 financial planners (Kevin and Roger Pine) including highlights of items on a tax return that every advisor should be looking for when it comes to client tax planning opportunities for customized observations.
Finally, the session will conclude with a question and answer session which will include best tax planning practices currently being utilized by many of the more than 1,600 firms currently using Holistiplan for their client’s tax planning.
