A few comments from listeners when they were asked what the learned from the webinar:
To always refer to a tax lawyer and/or CPA when confronted with ROTH conversions, as the tax brackets and phase-outs come into play. Also it seems that as a non-spouse bene, you can a ROTH conversion if the IRA is coming out of a 401(k) - Lois B.
Combine a Special Needs Trust with a Roth IRA conversion. - Maria R.
Every time you do a Roth conversion you need to fill out a new beneficiary form. - Jacqueline B.
I learned that in most cases it is better to put more money into a Roth IRA as far as annual contributions and conversion are allowed. - Patricia B.
Not really a new idea, but I've always had a hard time getting a good explanation of estate vs income tax considerations, and that was addressed more than typical in today's webinar. - Cheryl K.
