This session will cover two interesting real estate topics. One is an attractive opportunity for real estate investors who no longer want to manage the daily tasks involved with owning real estate. The other is a flat-fee listing service for selling you home; www.homezu.com.

1031 Exchanges: DSTs offer a compelling option for a tax-free 1031 exchange for those no longer interested in managing their real estate investments. Delaware Statutory Trusts, a.k.a. "DTSs," are real estate vehicles managed by institutional managers, a.k.a. "Sponsors", like Cantor Fitzgerald. This part of the program features Frank Piscitelli, a veteran of the 1031 exchange business, reviewing the nuances of 1031 exchanges, to include the timing, qualified intermediaries, partial exchanges and more.

Flat-Fee Home Selling: Chris Carr, a pioneer in the flat-fee MLS space for home sellers, will share how home sellers can now list their home on the "multi-list" for as little as $399, instead of paying a realtor 2.5-3.5% of the sales price.
