This session features a Certified Student Loan Planner, Saki Kurose, using several case studies to illustrate great examples of the pros and cons of various repayment strategies, the impact of how borrowers file their tax returns (MFS vs. MFJ), when and how loan consolidation may make sense and more. Saki will also address considerations for married couples, borrowers living overseas, the impact of community property states, and what double consolidation could yield with Parent loans.
