About a third of undergraduate students graduate with no student loan debt. How did they do it? Did they happen to pick wealthy parents, or is there more to the story? With more than two-thirds of Bachelor’s degree recipients graduating with student loan debt, and 7/8s of college graduates who apply for financial aid, student loan debt is largely unavoidable. The trick is to help students find ways to reduce their debt at graduation.
