This sessions will provide a preview of The Day of Financial Experts, a special one-day educational event I’m hosting on November 9 in Washington, D.C.
Held in collaboration with the Financial Planning Association, the event takes place one day before the national FPA Summit on November 10–11. You don't need to attend the FPA Summit to participate. The Day of Financial Experts is a standalone event, but it’s also a great opportunity to add 1-2 days of advanced education if you’re also interested in the FPA Summit.
We’re bringing together leading experts to address three critical planning areas:
Tax Planning for High-Income Earners + Roth Conversions
Adam Scherer, MS, CFP®, EA will share actionable, case-study-driven strategies advisors can use to help high-income clients identify opportunities to reduce federal, state and local taxes. He’ll also explore how to evaluate Roth conversions as part of a multi-year tax strategy.
Estate Planning for $2–$5 Million Households
Alan Gassman and Scott Levin will share current estate-planning strategies for affluent families, including ways to strengthen existing plans, protect assets, transfer wealth and avoid costly planning mistakes.
Social Security: What’s Next—and What You May Be Missing
Learn about the challenges facing Social Security, how potential reforms could affect future benefits, and hear Kurt Czarnowski share 5 lesser-known strategies and rules that can help clients make better claiming decisions.
Earn 6 CE credits for CFP® certification and IAR requirements, with CE also available for American College designations, CDFA®, CPA and EA professionals.
Attendance is capped at just 75 professionals—and as a subscriber, you’re getting first access.
If tax planning, estate planning and Social Security are important to your clients, I hope you’ll join us in Washington on November 9.
