Join highly respected estate planning attorney Alan Gassman, J.D., LL.M. for the mathematics of estate tax planning. There has been much confusion and need for understanding with respect to what works and doesn’t work in the world of estate tax planning. In particular, individuals and families not yet affected by the estate tax should understand why they need to act now and not after it is too late.

This 60-minute presentation will cover many essential concepts on the mathematics of estate tax planning to include:

Identify how the estate tax will impact families having between seven and ten million dollars in assets
Recall the mathematics of gifting versus selling
Recall the mathematics of qualified personal residence trusts
Recall the mathematics of an installment sale to a defective grantor trust
Summarize planning strategies for families having an excess of 100 million dollars in assets
