2. Overview of FEN Offerings
- Live Webinars:
- Over 109 webinars year-to-date and ~100 expert presenters.
- Focus on financial planning, tax, estate, and investment topics.
- Quality monitored through participant ratings and feedback surveys.
- Poorly rated presenters are not re-invited.
- Subscriber Base:
- Approximately 1,415 active subscribers and ~3,000 total since launch.
- 90% of webinars are eligible for CFP CE credits.
3. CE Credit Programs
- Types of Credits Offered:
- CFP®, Investment Advisor Representative (IAR/FINRA), CPA (CPE), Enrolled Agent (EA), and newly approved CDFA credits.
- Ethics CE:
- Presented by Tom Duffy, highly rated among attendees.
- Next session scheduled for October 31 (Halloween).
- Investment Advisor Reps (IAR):
- Over 500 active IAR subscribers.
- Courses for both Ethics and Products & Practices (6 hours each).
- Reporting:
- CE credits are submitted weekly (not real-time).
- Subscribers can view credits next day via their dashboard.
4. New CE Credit Approvals
- Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA):
- Newly approved CE provider.
- First program: December 4 on Divorce Planning.
5. Referral Program Launch
- How It Works:
- When a new subscriber lists your name in the “How did you learn about us?” field, you receive one month’s credit on your plan.
- Applies to both monthly ($19) and annual ($199) subscribers.
- Referring 12 new members earns a free year.
- Eligibility: Referral must be identified at signup; credit applied to billing.
6. Courses and Masterclasses
- Bob Keebler’s Tax Planning Masterclass:
- Four-session in-depth course on recent tax law changes.
- Now available under CE Self-Study Courses.
- $30 per two-hour session ($60 if dual-credited for CFP & IAR).
- Self-Study Library:
- 62 total courses, 56 CFP-eligible.
- Programs must be rated “excellent” by 90% of attendees to be added.
- Includes video replay, materials, and quiz for credit.
7. Website and Dashboard Enhancements
New and Updated Features
- Personalized Dashboard:
- Access CE credits, attendance certificates, and webinar links.
- Sort and filter by year, designation (CFP/IAR), and live/self-study format.
- Download Excel reports of completed CE activities.
- Favorites/Shortcuts:
- Add frequently used sections to the top of the menu.
- Recommended Webinars (Coming Soon):
- Personalized webinar list based on user profile and designations.
- Add to Calendar: Supports Outlook and Apple ICS formats.
- Profile Management:
- Add CFP ID, CRD number, PTIN, license info, and CE due dates.
- Planned personalized CE reminders based on due dates.
- Billing & Subscriptions:
- New ability to download or email invoices directly from the dashboard.
- Access both subscription and CE reporting fee invoices.
8. Guest Pass Feature
- Allows members to invite clients or referral partners to attend webinars.
- Guests list the referring member’s name at registration.
- Larger guest lists (10+ invites) may have a small additional charge.
9. Community and Engagement Tools
- Knowledge Base: Archive of educational documents (e.g., FICO score reports).
- Webinar Replays:
- Replay recordings and downloadable slides.
- New “Webinar Summary” feature: GPT-assisted, fact-checked summaries for each webinar.
- Forum (Underused):
- Allows members to connect, ask questions, and share resources.
- Members must email Tom to be added manually (opt-in).
10. Upcoming Enhancements and AI Integration
- AI Chatbot (In Testing):
- Integrated on replay pages to answer webinar-specific questions.
- Draws responses from webinar transcripts.
- Planned addition of timestamp references for precision.
- Future “Scorecard” Feature:
- Tracks participation and CE completion by topic (e.g., estate planning, charitable giving).
- Long-term goal: Add quizzes and progress metrics for self-assessment.
