A self-directed IRA is a retirement account that allows accountholders to invest in alternative assets. It is a novel product, as most Americans hold their IRAs with large brokerage houses where they are limited to stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
In this webinar, Daniel Gleich, CEO of one of the largest custodians for self-directed IRAs (SDIRAs), explained the benefits of the SDIRA, investment options, and some of the limitations to be aware of.
