A few comments from listeners when they were asked what the learned from the webinar:

Since I do not create my own portfolios, this acted as a great discussion of overall economic trends and other ways of looking at those from different viewpoints.
- Anne K.

I learned about "cost" of 60/40 portfolio and how it has changed over time; interesting to use "real yield" from 60/40 to show "need" for alternatives to increase real yield of portfolio.
- Matthew H.

Bubble chart (pg 9) was helpful, as were other charts. Useful topic. JP Morgan tends to have good information/charts. Dr. Kelly & his team provide interesting insights/perspective.
- Robert D.

Brandon Hall, Research Analyst from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, hosted an insightful webinar designed for financial advisors interested in diversifying client portfolios with alternative investments. The session examined how challenges in traditional 60/40 stock-bond allocations had increased the prominence of alternative investments for enhancing returns and reducing portfolio volatility. Participants explored key asset classes such as private equity, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure, and direct lending, leveraging insights from J.P. Morgan’s Guide to Alternatives to better understand how these investments could provide diversification, uncorrelated returns, and income generation.
