Join us for this webinar in which Erik Hayden, founder of San Jose, California-based real estate firm Urban Catalyst, discusses their current fund, UC Multifamily Equity I LLC ("UCME"). This fund, focusing on the ground-up development of a 272-unit multifamily apartment building in downtown San Jose, is structured to allow IRA investment. In this webinar you will learn how this investment opportunity could potentially reduce tax liability if an investor chooses to do an IRA to Roth IRA conversion during the construction period.¹
Key Takeaways:
- Review examples of the process of IRA to Roth IRA Conversion using a development fund.
- Learn about the JCurve that some development funds have when it comes to Net Asset Value (“NAV”) and how if an investor uses their IRA to invest into a ground up real estate development fund, their NAV could be devalued during construction.
- The main things to look out for when scouting for potential ground-up real estate development investment opportunities.
