Bill has practiced law in Denver since 1976. Throughout his career, he has served as lead counsel in numerous state and federal court cases nationwide. His expertise predominantly lies in complex tax disputes, will contests, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Many of these cases were high-profile and received national publicity in publications such as The New York Times, Washington Post, and Newsweek. He has also appeared on “60 Minutes”, CNN, and other news outlets, as well as testified before Congress regarding proposed changes to the Internal Revenue Code.

In 2021, he became a Founding Member of The Private Trust Consortium, a membership organization based in Boulder, Colorado, which provides trustees with essential information and tools for successful trust administration.

Bill's accomplishments have consistently been acknowledged by his peers, including receiving the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell for both legal ability and ethical standards.

Dave has 30 years of experience overseeing the administration of trusts and estates for international and regional corporate trustees, and as a practicing attorney serving clients in their estate, tax and business planning.  Previously, Dave held positions of CEO and Vice President for Zia Trust, Inc., including oversight of its new and rapidly-growing Arizona office, and as Senior Vice President of The Northern Trust Company and Manager of Estate Settlement Services for its West Region.  He has managed the trusteeship of all types and complexities of trusts, to include dispute and tax resolution for estates and trusts before the courts and with the I.R.S. and state and foreign tax authorities.  He has served families and businesses nationally and around the world.  Dave is a member of the Illinois and Arizona State Bar Associations, the Arizona State Bar Probate and Trust and Tax Sections, and the Maricopa County Bar Association Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section.  Dave has served on numerous committees and boards, and most recently as Director for the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.
