Join Wade Pfau as he shares his recent research on different reverse mortgage strategies while providing an update on the new options that allow clients as young as 55 to use a reverse mortgage. Wade's findings use historical simulations, similar to how Bill Bengen created the 4% rule. This approach has the advantage of using real historical data and allows readers to understand the strategies in a historical context (based on today's reverse mortgage and tax rules).

Learn why Wade's findings show how a reverse mortgage, when used from the start instead of as a last resort, produces more favorable client outcomes. Wade will discuss these strategies:

Using a reverse mortgage to refinance a traditional mortgage in retirement
Finance the purchase of a home with a reverser mortgages
Building a Social Security delay bridge
Using reverse mortgage proceeds to paying taxes on a strategic Roth conversion
