Special needs planning requires a robust estate plan and regular reviews, especially after the passing of the SECURE 2.0 Act. Join special needs planner Kristin Carleton and attorney Joseph Kozlowski to learn how SECURE 2.0 impacts IRA distributions for disable beneficiaries and how IRAs with a special needs trust as beneficiary need to be updated with language specific to the Secure Act 2.0. Kristin and Joe will use several examples to explain what you should look for, in light of SECURE 2.0, when doing special needs planning.

In this webinar, you will learn:

1. How the Secure Act impacted special needs planning

2. Pitfalls to existing special needs trusts that arose from the secure act

3. Specific language needed for IRAs with special needs trusts as beneficiaries, particularly if there is a charitable alternate beneficiary.
