Many employers offer employee stock plans as an incentive, but many clients have no idea of the value of the plans and their tax implications. Join CPA Larry Pon to learn how RSU, ESPP, and Stock Options work and how they may impact a client earnings.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand the tax and financial planning implications of Restricted Stock Units (RSU), employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP), Incentive Stock Options (ISO) and Nonqualified Stock Options (NQSO). 
  • Understand how to avoid common mistakes made by our clients with their employee stock plans

A Bonus topic will be address Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS), a.k.a. 1202 stock and how to help clients exclude up to $10 million from capital gains taxes.
